Operating Theatre Manager - Leeds

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the largest of Nuffield Health's Hospitals for an experienced Operating Theatre Manager to lead a team of experienced ODPs, operating theatre nurses and support staff in the delivery of high quality, safe patient care.

Leeds Hospital has 6 operating theatres (2 laminar flow) and specialises in cardiac, thoracic, orthopaedic, neurosurgery, general and bariatric surgery. New exciting procedures are being introduced on a regular basis.

You'll need to be a registered practitioner, with significant experience in a clinical management role. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong, effective working relationships are essential, as is a strong customer focus and a desire to deliver the highest standards of care in line with Nuffield's commitment. You'll also need to have experience of managing budgets and resources as well as a desire to continually improve processes and standards and work to integrate theatres with the rest of the hospital.

Leeds Hospital has 80 beds plus 8 Critical Care beds, a high end specified vascular intervention suite, plus static MR and CT facilities, offering the very latest in terms of technology, treatment and care. The strategy for the hospital is to expand the range and type of clinical services offered.
