Operating Theatre Sister Scrub in Surrey

We are currently recruiting for an Operating Theatre Sister with solid Scrub experience to work for an expanding private hospital in Surrey.

Your role will be to actively participate in the running of the Operating Theatre Department to ensure the provision of evidence-based care and cost-effective use of resources. To promote and support the development of all staff within the Operating Theatre Department and the wider hospital. To participate in the formulation and review of policies and procedures and the implementation of new policies. To participate in the staffing and staff reviews to ensure the service meets the expectations of patients and consultants and to take charge of the Operating Department in the absence of the Operating Theatre Manager or whenever requested to do so.

We are looking for a very strong scrub nurse or sister with the Theatre Practice course and Teaching and Assessing / Mentorship course / D32/33 / D34.
