Anaesthetics Practitioner in London


Our client, a treatment centre providing healthcare to NHS patients, are looking for an Anaesthetic Practitioner to join their team on a full time perm basis.

This role will involve working with the Anesthetists and other members of the theatre team to ensure patients are kept safe throughout surgical procedures.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Assisting the Anaesthetist
- Checking the theatres are set up appropriately for the day's list
- Receiving the patient into theatres
- Undertaking pre-op checks on patients including ensuring consent, completing documentation etc
- Assisting with the smooth running of the theatres

The successful candidate will be an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with anaesthetics qualifications with a valid NMC or HCPC PIN number and experience working as in anaesthetics. You will have experience of intubation, extubation and resuscitation of patients.
