Lead Operating Theatre Practitioner in London

We are currently seeking a Lead Operating Theatre Practitioner to join a Theatre Team within a private hospital. You will work as part of a team to ensure a high standard of clinical care and safety for patients within the Theatre Unit. You will also provide clinical leadership to junior staff and deputise for the Theatre Lead/Manager in their absence.

It is essential that you have the following; Registered Nurse Level 1, NMC Registration or; Registered ODP (NVQ III/Dip. HE). extensive operating theatre experience, health and safety training and moving and handling training.

You will be liaise with consultants, patients, staff & members of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and assisting the Theatre Co-Ordinator to demonstrate commitment to seamless and consistent high quality care and services. It is important that you are able to be flexible in response to the needs of the department, have good team building skills, be an excellent team leader and staff motivator and have the ability to work effectively under pressure.
