Theatre Operating Department Practitioner (Fixed Term)

Theatre Operating Department Practitioner / Staff Nurse – Anaesthetics / Recovery

We are looking for qualified staff with experience in anaesthetics and recovery and possibly also an interest in scrub to supplement our existing theatre team for 9-12 months to cover maternity leave.

Our operating theatre and endoscopy suite is a busy department where we have a combination of ODPs and nursing staff working under contract and covering a wide range of surgical specialities. 

The Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital is set in six acres of beautiful wooded grounds and is a modern, well-equipped hospital with 28 en-suite private rooms, 11 private en-suite day rooms, and two special high dependency beds. The hospital has recently undergone an extensive refresh and operating theatres are just completing a refurbishment of the endoscopy area which along with new equipment will ensure we are better placed to achieve JAG accreditation. Our facilities include one Major operating theatre with laminar flow, one Major operating theatre without laminar flow and an endoscopy suite.
