Part of a leading group of healthcare providers; this hospital with the latest technology and on-site services are looking for an Anaesthetic & Recovery Practitioner to join their team in Swindon.
This role will involve providing support through the peri-operative stages of surgery to the anaesthetic and recovery teams.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Assembling, checking and preparing appropriate equipment in the anaesthetic and recovery rooms
- Conducting mandatory patient and surgical safety checks
- Administering drugs
- Providing support to junior members of the team
The successful candidate will be an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with anaesthetic qualifications and a valid NMC or HPC PIN number and experience working in anaesthetics and recovery. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
