Senior Scrub Practitioner in West Sussex

Our client; a hospital serving the local community and part of a network of leading healthcare providers, are looking for two Senior Scrub Nurses to join their team in Chichester, West Sussex.

This role will involve scrubbing for a variety of procedures including, but not limited to, gynaecology, general, plastics and ophthalmics. You will be working across two operating theatres.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Scrubbing for a variety of procedures
- Supervising junior members of the team
- Assisting with the smooth running of the theatres
- Taking responsibility in the absence of the Team Leader

The successful candidate will be an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC or HPC PIN number and experience working as a Scrub Nurse. You must have excellent communication skills and be a team player.

Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse in Edinburgh

Our Client, part of a group of healthcare providers are looking for a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse to join their team in Edinburgh.

This role will involve scrubbing and assisting with procedures in the cardiac cath lab. Someone with cath lab experience only will be suitable for this 22.5 hour/ week post, however candidates with cath lab and general scrub skills can be offered a permanent post to utilise their skills in other areas.

Team Leader in Edinburgh

Our Client, part of a group of healthcare providers are looking for an experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse to join and lead their operating theatre team in Edinburgh.

Reporting to the Operating Theatre Manager, this role will involve supporting the Theatre Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the operating theatres which will include taking charge in the absence of the Theatre Manager and scrubbing in orthopaedic and a variety of other procedures.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Scrubbing
- Providing support and advice to the scrub team, Deputy Team Leaders and the Theatre Manager
- Conducting appraisals for more junior members of the team
- Delegating to other team members and decision making

Senior Anaesthetics Practitioner in London

Practitioner to join their team.

This position will involve providing anaesthetics assistance and rotating through all areas of theatres including the endoscopy department. Therefore, the right candidate must be flexible and adaptable. You will have extensive anaesthetics experience, with the ability to adapt your skills to changing situations.

You must be available to work shifts, from 07.30 to 21.00 and take part in the on-call rota.

This salary is generously allied to a salary range of £29,498 - £38,962 including allowances, dependant on experience plus benefits including 25 days holiday, access to the pension scheme and healthcare. This is a full time permanent position working 37.5 hours a week.

This hospital has excellent transport links on the bus, rail and tube.

Operating Theatre Practitioner ~ Endoscopy in Chichester

The Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a modern, purpose-built hospital with 40 en-suite beds, twin operating theatre suites, one with laminar flow, and an Endoscopy theatre together with a comprehensive range of outpatient services.

Nuffield Health Chichester completed the refurbishment of its Endoscopy and Operating Theatre Suites in 2011 and now has a requirement for an Endoscopy trained Nurse/Operating Theatre Practitioner. The Endoscopy Suite provides an excellent working environment, including state-of-the-art equipment and the department is also undergoing its JAG Accreditation.

You will need to be an NMC or HPC registered practitioner with experience of working in an Endoscopy Suite. You will be an excellent communicator and team worker, who is motivated and committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care.
