Spire Norwich Hospital holds a long standing reputation for providing high quality,comprehensive private hospital care.Our facilities are excellent and the hospital is staffed by a valued team of highly skilled professionals.A thriving suite of three Theatres (two equipped with laminar flow) covers a wide range of surgical specialities and includes a dedicated sterile services department.The hospital has a 3 bedded High Dependency Unit which is integrated with the Recovery department.The successful candidate will provide exceptional clinical care for patients in both the Recovery Room and HDU.

The successful candidate will form part of an already established team, and will be expected to provide and maintain a high quality service. We can offer support from a strong management team, the opportunity to work along side expert clinicians, access to professional and personal development and experience within a dynamic working environment.Undertaking a wide range of surgical specialities,this position presents an opportunity to broaden skills whilst working in a modern environment with a friendly,enthusiastic team.ENB 998 or a mentorship qualification is also desirable.

To provide exemplary planned care for patients within the Recovery area and High Dependency Unit .

Bank-as and when required.

Qualifications & Training:

Registered Nurse
Desirable
Previous experience of working in Recovery and HDU
ENB 998/Mentorship qualification

Experience:
Essential
Working in teams and with minimum supervision
Experience in a caring role

Desirable
Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes

Knowledge and Technical Ability:
Essential
Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration/practitioner qualification and additional training.
Possess the mandatory training requirements for role including infection control and health and safety competencies.
Demonstrate principles of accountable practice
Possess Equipment and Medical Devices Competences
English language to IELTS 7.0

Continuing professional development.
Trained on MS Office and other relevant packages
