My client is currently looking for an experienced Recovery Nurse/ODP, ideally with anaesthetic experience also.

The Hospital has 65 beds all with the comfort of en-suite facilities, satellite TV and telephone.

The hospital has four operating theatres and an outpatient theatre. In addition to the inpatient facilities, there is a comprehensive outpatient department including x-ray, health screening and a physiotherapy and hydrotherapy complex.

Skills
Technically competent ODP or RGN
Able to communicate effectively at all times.
Empathetic.
Efficient in planning and organising.
Able to manage time and to prioritise.
Works well alone or as part of the team.
Able to work well under pressure and remain calm in an emergency.
Able to make decisions and to solve problems.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Able to act with tact, courtesy, diplomacy, self-control and in a manner which reflects pride in the hospital, commitment and promotes excellent relationships with all customers.

Knowledge

ODP - NVQ level 3/RGN

• To provide quality planned care for patients during their peri operative phase of care

This follows manufacturing difficulties and concerns that the product might not be interchangeable with other available levothyroxine 100 mcg tablets. This may lead to a loss of control of hypothyroidism when switching between products.

Anaesthetic Practitioner Nurse in Glasgow

Our client, part of a group of leading healthcare providers based in Glasgow are currently recruiting for Anaesthetic Practitioners to join an existing team. You will be looking after patients undergoing a variety of procedures.

You will be self motivated and a team player with registration with either the NMC or HPC and be either RGN or ODP qualified. RGN's must also have a qualification in anaesthetics and experience in this area.

Our client is part of a group of leading healthcare providers who are currently looking to recruit an ODP with anaesthetics and recovery experience to work on a 9 month fixed term contract. This hospital has 40 beds and are currently undergoing refurbishment to ensure a high standard of care delivery to service users.

We are looking for an experienced Operating Theatre Practitioner who is either RGN or ODP qualified and registered with NMC or HPC and have been working in anaesthetics and recovery. You will be available to start at short notice on this 9 month fixed term contract.

Our client is part of a leading healthcare provider, based in beautiful landscaped gardens with 43 beds and 3 theatres with laminar flow. They specialise in orthopaedic and spinal surgeries. They are currently looking for Scrub Nurse to join their established team.

You will be working on orthopaedic and spinal cases, so you must have experience in scrubbing in orthopaedics or spinal. This hospital does not currently have the capacity to train someone, although someone with extensive scrubbing experience in other areas will be considered. You must be RGN or ODP qualified.

The Cardiology Unit is a very sophisticated one and provides a full range of all cardiac procedures.

They require a highly trained and qualified catheter lab nurse to work in the department, ideally with vast experience and scrub skills in all aspects of invasive procedures including complex angioplasties, device implantation and Electrophysiology/ Complex Ablation. It is also essential that applicants have previous Cardiology and Catheter Lab experience.
