Spire Leicester Hospital is the largest private hospital in the Midlands, situated in Oadby, employing c.350 staff with capacity for 71 beds including 2 HDU beds, 4 operating theatres and state of the art outpatient and diagnostic facilities.
We offer a wide range of operations, treatments and tests including MRI and CT scans and laser treatment. We carry out major operations such as hip and knee replacements, prostate removal and spinal surgery, as well as diagnostic procedures and keyhole surgery.
Main responsibilities:
To provide exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre.
Working hours:
Hours are negotiable up to 32.5 hours per week working on a rota
Location:
We have a modern theatre complex comprising of 4 operating theatres (2 with laminar flow), a laser eye suite, a catheter laboratory and a 5 bedded monitored recovery area. Key specialities are Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Urology, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology and ENT.
