Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospital offers a comprehensive range of services and facilities in a comfortable and relaxed environment to patients in Kent. The services offered in the hospital include:
- two operating theatres with laminar flow
- one endoscopy unit
- Radiology, including x-ray imaging, mammography, ultrasound, and visiting mobile MR and CT scanning units
- Outpatients
- Pharmacy
- Pathology `hot lab`
- Physiotherapy
The Operating Theatre suite and Endoscopy unit are in use from 0800 to 1800 daily except Sunday and Bank Holidays.
Our Vacancy
You will provide exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative environment and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assessing patients health and well being across a complex and changing caseload.
- Assisting in the delivery of care to meet patient¿s health and wellbeing.
- Providing and receiving complex, sensitive or contentious information.
- Developing your own knowledge and skills and that of others.
- Promoting best practice in health and safety and security.
- Assisting in maintaining and developing services.
- Contributing to quality improvement.
- Promoting peoples equality, diversity and rights
- Applying technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
- Acknowledging the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understanding your own responsibility as agreed with your line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.
Your working hours will be 37.5 hours per week on a flexible working pattern covering a Monday to Saturday rota. You will also have on-call duties.
