Scrub and Anaesthetics Practitioner

This hospital, part of a group of leading healthcare providers, are looking for a Scrub and Anaesthetics Practitioner to join their team in West Sussex.

This role will involve assisting the Anaesthetist and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during the peri-operative stages of care at all times. You will also be required to scrub for a variety of procedures including, but not limited to, gynaecology, general, orthopaedics, plastics and ophthalmics. This hospital do not undertake cardiac, neuro or vascular procedures.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Providing anaesthetics assistance to the Anaesthetist
- Scrubbing for a variety of procedures
- Supervising junior members of the team
- Assisting with the smooth running of the theatres

The successful candidate will be an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an Anaesthetics qualification and a valid NMC or HPC PIN number. You will have experience working as a Scrub and Anaesthetics Practitioner with excellent communication skills.
