Operating Theatre Manager in East Sussex

Set in beautiful grounds, this hospital, part of a group of leading healthcare providers, are looking for a Theatre Manager to lead their team in East Sussex. This is a fantastic local opportunity or an ideal opportunity to relocate to the beautiful south coast.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services; this role will involve taking full responsibility for the theatre department including clinical leadership, resource management and organisation of patient care provision.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Staff management and associated HR duties
- Marketing, budgetary control and KPI management
- Attending relevant meetings
- Delegation and staff development
- Health and safety within theatres
- Leading by example
- Remaining clinical when required

The successful candidate will be an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC or HPC PIN number and experience working as a Nurse in the operating theatre environment. You must have excellent communication and leadership skills and have the ability to motivate and direct staff.
