This hospital; a state of the art modern building, who are part of a group of leading healthcare providers, are looking for an Anesthetic and Scrub Practitioner to join their team in Essex.
This role will involve working alongside the Anaesthetist assisting for various elective day case procedures such as Ophthalmic, General, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics and Urology. You will also assist peri-operatively; scrubbing as required, training can be provided.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Assisting the Anaesthetist
- Preparing theatres
- Scrubbing for a variety of procedures
- Supervising junior members of the team
- Assisting with the smooth running of the theatres
The successful candidate will be an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC or HPC PIN number and experience working as a Scrub Nurse. You must have excellent communication skills and be a team player.
