Main responsibilities:
To assist the multi-disciplinary operating theatre team to provide exemplary care by offering a timely portering service. The service will include escorting patients between wards and the operating theatre suite, transporting equipment, medical records, meals, specimens and linen and moving furniture.
The post holder will also be required to provide support to the Theatre Supplies Co-ordinator as and when required.
