Our client; a hospital which is part of a group of leading healthcare providers, are looking for an Operating Theatre Practitioner to join their team in Sheffield.
This role will involve assisting during the peri-operative stages of care in a scrub and anaesthetics capacity.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Scrubbing for a variety of procedures
- Providing anaesthetics assistance
- Preparing the theatres
- Supervising junior members of the team
- Assisting with the smooth running of the operating theatres
The successful candidate will be an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an anaesthetic qualification and a valid NMC or HPC PIN number and experience working in anaesthetics and scrub nurse. You must have excellent communication skills and be a team player.
