Critical Care Resident Medical Officer - London

Set in central London, this large hospital, part of a group of prestigious healthcare providers, are looking for a Critical Care Resident Medical Officer (RMO).

This role will involve assisting in the management of patients in the critical care units and other clinical areas; providing support to Consultants.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Acting as part of the Outreach Team to provide first line assessment and resuscitation to critically ill patients
- To act on the decisions of the Consultant on the management of the patient
- Clerk relevant admissions
- Undertake daily ward rounds with relevant nursing staff and/ or Consultant
- Assess patients at the request of the nurses
- Provide emergency treatment to staff or visitors in case of accident or sudden illness
- Blood taking

The successful candidate will be a qualified and experienced Doctor who has experience of managing patients with multi-organ failure and patients requiring intubation & cardiopulmonary support. You will have knowledge of insertion of central venous catheters (CVC lines), double lumen dialysis catheters, arterial lines and a basic understanding of renal replacement therapy.
