Centrally located, this independent private hospital, are looking for a Deputy Operating Theatre Manager to assist the Operating Theatre Manager in the management of main operating theatres.
Reporting to the Operating Theatre Manager, this role will involve:
- Providing line management to the operating theatre team
- Providing advice to the multi-disciplinary team
- Recruitment and other HR responsibilities
- Report writing
- Demonstrating competent clinical practice
The successful candidate will be an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC or HPC PIN number and experience working in a senior position within the operating theatre environment.
You must have excellent awareness of all areas of theatre including scrub, anaesthetics and recovery and you will have excellent communication skills and be a team player.
