Theatre Manager in Brentwood

Spire Hartswood Hospital in Brentwood offers comprehensive private hospital services to patients from Brentwood, Billericay, Basildon, Romford and surrounding parts of Essex and East London.
This is a very exciting and challenging time for us and we are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified theatre practitioner to manage and lead our busy theatres and endoscopy suite.

As Theatre Manager you will have responsibility for the day to day management of the theatre areas, including staff, resources, and utilisation; ensuring effective leadership and support for our business objectives, polices and strategies to maintain and improve the services delivered to our patients and consultants.

Working closely with the hospital senior management team you will also be involved in the development of business and service development plans, consultant relationships, and will participate in ongoing programs to deliver high quality care and services.

The post holder will also be an integral member of the Hospital Management Team, providing advice, and support to the Hospital Director and Matron/ Head of Clinical Services, on all practice and theatre issues, as well as other members of the management team. In addition to this you will have the opportunity to work along side commercial, business, and marketing managers to develop services now and in the future.

Who we are looking for
Qualifications & Training:
Qualifed Operating Theatre Practitioner (nursing or ODP/ ODA)

Experience:
Prior experience as Theatre Manager, or as a Deputy Theatre Manager with a proven track record of leading a team is essential
