Spire Healthcare offers treatment for private patients, funded by health insurance, those choosing to pay for themselves and NHS patients under the government's Free Choice system. The hospitals provide a wide range of services, from diagnostic and routine investigations, to more complex surgery. Spire's commitment is to clinical excellence, patient safety and infection control.
At Spire Southampton Hospital we have 78 beds, 9 consulting rooms and 4 theatres and treat patients from all across the South of England, as well as overseas. We are proud of our ability to offer complex procedures, due to our newly updated Critical Care Department, which includes intensive care and high dependency units. Specialties include orthopedic, spinal and cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, cosmetic and bariatric surgery. We have excellent diagnostic imaging with CT and a new MRI scanner in 2009. New in 2010 is our oncology department, The Chalybeate Suite, offering clean, light and modern facilities to have cancer treatment. CPUK also have facilities at Spire Southampton Hospital, including new radiotherapy facilities improving further the comprehensive cancer services available here.
Our Vacancy Combined Role: Predominantly catheter lab and cardiac theatres (training given).
