Spire Leicester Hospital is the largest private hospital in the Midlands employing c.350 staff with capacity for 71 beds including 2 HDU beds, 4 operating theatres and state of the art outpatient and diagnostic facilities.
We offer a wide range of operations, treatments and tests including MRI and CT scans and laser treatment. We carry out major operations such as hip and knee replacements, prostate removal and spinal surgery, as well as diagnostic procedures and keyhole surgery.
Our Vacancy
Main responsibilities:
To provide exemplary planned care for patients requiring perioperative intervention supporting the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre, taking on the roles of a surgical practitioner, dual role and advanced surgical practitioner.
To assist the perioperative managers to deliver effective patient care by providing appropriate clinical support assisting the theatre manager to effectively maximise theatre utilisation.
Working hours: Bank hours
