You will be responsible and fully accountable for managing the Operating Theatre department ensuring the delivery of high quality clinical care within a multidisciplinary team.
You will be required to ensure the implementation of and compliance with all relevant standards, legislation, organisational policies, procedures and integrated governance requirements within the department and that all relevant audits/reviews are undertaken and acted on accordingly.
As clinical lead for the department, you will provide specialist knowledge to the department, identifying any deficits and developing programmes to address these issues, demonstrating and maintaining your clinical credibility.
