Our client, a hospital which is part of a group of leading healthcare providers, are looking for an experienced Theatre Manager to manage their team and three theatres in Lancashire.
This role will involve providing appropriate clinical and managerial leadership throughout the department.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Managing the theatre team
- Departmental HR duties
- Work within the theatre budget
- Ensure the smooth running of the theatres
- Delegate to colleagues
- Staying clinical; scrubbing or assisting in anaesthetics or recovery as qualified to do so.
The successful candidate will be an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC or HPC PIN number and experience working in a senior theatre or theatre management role. You must have excellent communication skills and be a team player.
