Operating Theatre Manager

This hospital, part of a group of leading healthcare providers, are looking for a Theatre Manager to join their team in the West Midlands.
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services; this role will involve taking full responsibility for the theatre departments across two sites; including clinical leadership, resource management and organisation of patient care provision.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Staff management and associated HR duties
- Marketing, budgetary control and KPI management
- Attending relevant meetings
- Delegation and staff development
- Health and safety within theatres
- Leading by example
- Remaining clinical when required
The successful candidate will be
- Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC or HPC PIN number
- Experienced in working clinically in theatres
- An excellent communicator and a team player
- Able to manage, lead, support and develop a team
- Financially aware
- Experienced as a Senior Theatre Practitioner
- Managerial experience and/ or qualifications
