Rehabilitation Engineer

Our client is a well established and leading provider of clinical and equipment services with several hundred employees worldwide. The company has grown significantly over the last 5 years so this is a very exciting time to be joining and to be a part of a growing success.

Our client has contracts nationally to supply wheelchair and community equipment and services to the NHS and they are looking for a Rehabilitation Engineer who can demonstrate both a strong mix of clinical and customer service skills. You will be apart of the clinical team and as such will be contributing positively to ensuring the right equipment meets the needs of the client, as well as promoting the highest levels of clinical standards. You will be prescribing product alongside the local NHS wheelchair service and will also play a part in the on-going development of the next generation of rehab products. Frequent travel is required to meet with clients and occasional travel across the UK to meet with business need.

Operating Department Practitioners ~ Theatres in Nottingham

Circle is responsible for running the Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre at QMC campus, on behalf of the NHS. The centre is the largest Independent Sector Treatment Centre in the UK and provides care to over 100,000 NHS patients annually.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to support the senior clinical staff and make sure high standards of effective care are delivered to all patients within the Daycase Theatre suite, whilst maintaining communication within the team. You must be registered with the HPC and have experience in theatre or anaesthetic practice and be prepared to take on greater responsibility within the theatre suite. You will be expected to run a theatre list without supervision and perform scrub, circulating and anaesthetic duties. A flexible attitude to work and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, covering a range of specialties is essential.

Clinical Support Specialist ~ Wound Care in West Midlands

Our client is a leading wound care company who are seeking a Clinical Support Specialist. The territory is the West Midlands and parts of the North West. The ideal location to live would be in the West Mids area. You will be working closely with the local Sales teams (Hospital/Community Sales Executives and Key Account Managers). Candidates must be willing and able to travel significantly on a regular basis within the region. There may also be the need to travel to other regions in order to provide cover. Introductory training course will be provided at commencement of employment for 3 weeks at head office.

Clinical Nurse Leader II, Paediatric Cardiac Theatres in Qatar

Scheduled to open in 2013, the Sidra Medical and Research centre will offer the latest technology and equipment to meet world-class standards in patient care, medical education and biomedical research. There will be a sophisticated clinical and translational research programme, general adult medical and surgical services and specialty care for women and children. The centre will be a teaching venue for medical students at Weill Cornell Medical College - a branch of the prestigious Ivy League university in New York.

The Clinical Nurse Leader will participate in the development of operational plans, standards and policies necessary to ensure optimal clinical performance in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives. The post holder will have an important role in the recruitment and commissioning processes. As the centre becomes operational the job will of course change to a more operational role.

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a Master’s degree in Nursing. (Alternatively, a combination of education and experience would be considered.) A post-registration qualification in perioperative nursing would be an advantage as would experience with Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA). Experience with design and planning of cardiac hybrid suites and CIS systems build for perioperative services would also be useful.
